Alternate implementations of the conceptual schema

A proposal is made to allow a data base administrator to define arbitrary data models at the conceptual level. A set of abstract concepts for the purpose is developed and an implementation described. Alternate interfaces by which the dba can define arbitrary data models in terms of theses concepts are described.
