Computation of statistical functions in distributed information systems

摘要
The problem of parallel distributed computation of some commonly found statistical functions is considered.Data are supposed to belong to a horizontally partitioned and possibly duplicated Distributed Database.Results for Homogeneously and Nonhomogeneously Decomposable Functions are shown applied to the case of the most common built-in functions in Information Systems.
