An improved upper bound on the Lebesgue constant of Berrut’s rational interpolation operator

In approximation theory, the Lebesgue constant of an interpolation operator plays an important role. The Lebesgue constant of Berrut’s interpolation operator has been studied recently. In the present work, an improved upper bound for equidistant nodes is given.
