Rational spectral collocation and differential evolution algorithms for singularly perturbed problems with an interior layer

• We consider a high accuracy numerical method to solve singularly perturbed problems with an interior layer.
• The presented method is based on the rational spectral collocation method in barycentric form and the DE algorithm.
• We construct a nonlinear unconstrained optimization problem which is solved by using the DE algorithm.
