The tanh transformation for double integrals with singularities—a progressive rule

Two transformation methods are extended to the numerical evaluation of two dimensional singular quadratures. These are both based on the tanh transformation and the resulting high order behaviour of the trapezoidal rule. Tests are carried out on some examples for which analytic results are also known.
