Computer-based assessment and the public interest: An examination of the issues and introduction to the special issue

摘要

Computer-based assessment presents new challenges related to the protection of the public interest. This paper suggests the nature of some of those challenges. In addition, potential advantages of computerized assessment and test interpretation are provided. Finally, the content of each of the papers included in the special issue is highlighted.
