Several papers are referring to the CCITT Recommendation H.261. To facilitate the consultation of the related document, and to favour the dissemination of this information, the text of the recommendation, as it appears in Doc. COM XV-R 17-E (Source: Working Party XV/1 (Audiovisual)): Part II (Amended and new Draft Recommendations) of the Report of the Geneva Meeting (27 November–1 December 1989), has been included in this Image Communication issue.
