Generating complex systems in the domain of chemical reactions

摘要

A computer language for defining types of chemical reactions is presented; reaction descriptions are compiled and executed, generating the specific reactions in chemical systems. The language includes commands for pruning the reaction network. Reaction types may be easily added, deleted, and modified to adjust the level of detail within a specific reaction network. The representation of chemical structures and the network-generation algorithms are also presented.
