On evaluating the quality of a computer science/computer engineering conference

• A new approach (CCA) for judging the quality of a Computer Science/Computer Engineering (CS/CE) conference venue.

• CCA takes into account the paper’s impact, the authors’ h-indexes, the authors’ affiliations.

• We present and discuss our results, based on data gathered from close to 3000 papers from 12 conferences.

• Our conference rankings achieve a very comparable classification with rankings based on evaluations from the CS/CE community.
