Gender and citation impact in management research

• Examines gender differences in the citation impact of management researchers.

• More than 25,000 research papers and 65,000 authorships have been analyzed.

• Controlling for other factors, women are slightly more likely to be cited than men.

• And, women are slightly more likely to author articles among the top-10% most cited.
